This study examined the effect of an adequate salary structure on the job satisfaction of employees in some selected teaching hospitals in Oyo state, Nigeria. A survey research design was adopted, with the aid of a structured questionnaire administered to 251medical professionals drawn from the two hospitals. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize the demographic information gathered from the respondents. Inferential statistics specifically known as Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to examine the effect of an adequate salary structure on the job satisfaction of employees This implies that salary structure –particularly regular adjustments and competitiveness with industry standards plays a significant role in determining job satisfaction.
