Food insecurity is a global problem contributing to poor health and nutrition. This study assessed the nutritional status of women farmers in Southwest Nigeria by examining socio-economic characteristics, sources of food security information, and food insecurity status. Using multistage sampling, 305 women farmers were selected. Data were collected via interviews and analyzed with descriptive statistics (frequency, percentages, Weighted Mean Score) and Pearson correlation. The mean age was 48.25 years, majority (75.1%) were married, with an average household size of 5. Households often consumed limited food variety due to resource constraints (WMS=1.08), and women primarily received information informally from friends and family. Age, household size, and income positively correlated with nutritional status. Education and empowerment are recommended to improve nutrition and food security.
