This study examined maize farmers' adaptive capacity to climate change in Ekiti State, Nigeria. It assessed how marketing-oriented associations and other factors enhance resilience to climate threats affecting maize production, their adaptive capacity, and major constraints. Using a multi-stage sampling technique, 240 maize farmers were surveyed through a structured questionnaire. Data for the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation, and Chi-square tests. The results show that the mean age, average maize yield, and proportion sold were 52 years, 36 bags, and 76%, respectively. About 56.7% accessed credit through cooperatives, while 57.1% indicated readiness to adopt improved marketing strategies. Major constraints included inadequate storage, limited government support, and poor credit access. The study recommends government-backed low-interest credit schemes and enhanced cooperative partnerships.
